Always a friendly welcome with great staff / customer banter. Food cooked fresh to your liking paired with a perfect cuppa. Returning customers makes for a friendly cafe.

On a welding job on east bristol , omg I loved the cafe , atmosphere, food , the lady serving, opened early, I wish there was more like this cafe around the country, see pics , thank you xx

What a brilliant place! I had the 'Hungry Horace' breakfast, which was substantial, good-quality food at a reasonable price - 9 (including a mug of tea). I have a healthy appetite, but had difficulty finishing it - but I did - then one of the staff offered me another mug of tea! My first visit, but I'll definitely be back soon.

A quintessential English daytime cafe serving a good range of fried breakfast options and other meals. Also the tea is made in a huge teapot that's kept warm all day, just how it should be. Friends use this as a regular cafe. It's clean and the tables are big.
